Gift messages are sent to gift recipients via SMS or Email once the product is delivered to their door by a courier.

To enable this, we need to connect your carriers to Giftnote.

We are integrated with 600+ global shipping carriers. We gather the tracking ID once you have added it to a Shopify order with an attached Giftnote and then send out the Giftnote once the carrier marks the goods as 'delivered'

If the recipient is not home and the product is taken to a local postal office. The recipient will not receive their gift message until they pick up the package.
