Viewing Gift Notes via Shopify Order Admin

Heads up — Giftnote v3 is here and the app looks different. We have just launched a completely new interface, so some screenshots and menu names in this article are still from the old version. We’re currently working on in-app search functionality. In the meantime, you can easily view a gift note directly from the Shopify order page by following these steps:

Steps:

  1. Go to a Shopify Order Open any order in your Shopify admin.
  2. Scroll Down to the “Add app block” Section Near the bottom of the order page, look for the “Add app block” button.
  3. Select “Gift Note Summary” Click Add app block, then choose Gift Note Summary from the list. This block will show the gift note info associated with the order.
  4. Pin the Block (Optional but Recommended) You can pin the block so it appears automatically on all future order pages.
  5. Refresh the Page Once the block is added, refresh the page to load the gift note info.
  6. View the Gift Note The summary will display a link to the gift note. Click the link to open the full gift note in the Giftnote app.
