Add the Multi-Gift Button to Your Shopify Store

The Multi-Gift feature is designed for:

  • Corporate gifters placing large bulk orders
  • DTC shoppers sending multiple gifts to friends and loved ones

Without Multi-Gift, sending three gifts means going through three separate Shopify checkouts. With Multi-Gift, your customers can send all gifts in one seamless transaction.

Option 1: Add the Multi-Gift Button via Theme Editor (Online Store 2.0)

  1. Open your Shopify Theme Editor.
  2. Select the product where you want to add the Multi-Gift option.
  3. Find the Multi-Gift Redirect Button in the theme blocks.
  4. Drag and drop it into your desired section (e.g. under the “Add to Cart” button).

You can customize the button style directly in the editor.

What Happens Next?

  • The button opens the Multi-Gift portal.
  • If a product is selected, it will automatically load into the portal.
  • Once gifting details are filled out, the customer is funneled into the normal Shopify checkout.

Option 2: Add the Button to Cart Page or Cart Drawer

Want to drive more usage of the Multi-Gift feature?

You can also place the button inside the cart layout or cart drawer.

  • If your theme supports it, use the theme editor to add the button block in the cart section.
  • If not, use the custom code snippet below.

Option 3: Manual Snippet for Non–Online Store 2.0 Themes

If you can’t use theme blocks, you can hardcode the Multi-Gift button directly into your Liquid files.

Paste the following snippet where you want the button to appear (e.g. cart.liquid):

This works in older themes that don’t support Online Store 2.0 sections.
