Modify a gift order

Giftnote allows for messages to be modified from within the app if the message has not already been sent. This can be useful if a customer needs the message edited due to a typo or error.
Note that an order type cannot be changed as such a scheduled note cannot be converted to a tracked order.
Modifying a gift order message
On the Giftnote dashboard select messages either via the top navigation of the Shopify navigaiton on the left.

Find the order that needs to be edited. The filter on the top right can be used to narrow down the results


On the found note select the message to open the message summary and then select edit on the right of the message block.

A popup will appear to allow the message to be edited. The fields that can be edited include the sender name, recipient name, message, recipient email, and recipient phone number.

Save after making the necessary changes.
Modifying a gift order schedule
After finding the gift message that needs to be edited select the message to open the message summary. Then select ‘Receduler’ on the right of the delivery block to alter the schedule

The new schedule can be set in the following popup. The date can be set by clicking the small calendar in the date field and selecting the new date via the calendar popup while the date can be set via drop down.

Save after the changes have been made.
