Definitions: Emails

Giftnote uses a wide range of emails ranging from the GIftnote itself sent to the recipient to various updates keeping the sender informed on what is happening with their Giftnote. This section will cover briefly what each email is used for.

Accessing all Giftnote app emails

To view all the emails within the Giftnote app and on the following page select notifications or scroll down to the notifications section.

Order message

This is an email sent to the recipient. Depending on the order settings it can arrive either on a Giftnote order, on a scheduled date, or when the product has arrived.

It will contain the message and products ordered by the sender.

Order delivered

This is an email sent to the sender, informing them that their order with the Gift Note has been delivered to the recipient.

It will show the sender the message and products that have been ordered for the recipient.

Order scheduled

This is an email sent to the sender, confirming that they have created a scheduled message with their order.

It will show the sender the message and products that have been ordered for the recipient and the currently scheduled date for when the recipient will receive the Giftnote.

Order tracked

This is an email sent to the sender, confirming that they have created a tracked message with their order which will be sent when the order is delivered.

It will show the sender the message and products that have been ordered for the recipient.

Gift card message

This is an email sent to the recipient for gift card or voucher orders. It will contain the code for the gift card, the gift card value, and the sender's message.

Gift card delivered

This is an email sent to the sender for gift cards or voucher orders to confirm that a gift card message has been delivered. It will contain the gift card value, a placeholder code and the sender's message.

Gift card scheduled

This is an email sent to the sender for gift cards or voucher orders to confirm that a scheduled gift card message has been created. It will contain the gift card value, a placeholder code, the sender's message, and the scheduled time the message will be sent.

Gift Card & Store Credit

This is an email sent to the sender for gift cards or voucher orders that have no message set. It will contain the gift card value and code for the gift card.
