Settings, plans and what you can configure

Every setting now lives inside the Shopify app, under Settings. Here's where everything moved to, and what's new.

Where your old settings moved

Profile→ Settings → Profile & Contacts
Billing→ Settings → Subscription
Widgets→ Settings → Gift Orders (and its Widgets/design editor)
Notifications→ Settings → Notifications, now with per-event, per-channel control
Exports→ Settings → Exports (unchanged)
Integrations→ Settings → Integrations (unchanged)
Multi Gift Settings→ Settings → Multi Gifts, and its Advanced settings
Multi Gift Offerings→ each storefront's Products tab
Multi Gift Branding→ each storefront's Branding tab
Multi Gift Form→ each storefront's Form tab
Multi Gift Notifications→ folded into Settings → Notifications, Multi Gift category
Multi Gift Discounts→ each storefront's Pricing tab
Multi Gift Shipping→ each storefront's Shipping tab

Multi Gift US Tax→ retired. TaxJar is no longer used. Giftnote uses the tax values Shopify calculates from your Shopify tax settings

Gift Card Settings→ Settings → Gift Cards, and its Advanced settings
Gift Card Products→ Settings → Gift Cards → Products (unchanged)

New in the September update

  • Merchant API — generate and manage an API token for your own integrations, from Settings → Merchant API.
  • Named widget configurations — build up to 10 complete widget setups, name them, and choose which is live per placement (theme, checkout, order status) — instead of editing one config in place.

Plans

Your current plan, usage, and available upgrades are all on Settings → Subscription. Features outside your plan stay visible in the app with a clear upgrade path, rather than disappearing.

  • No plan is the free tier.
  • Core is $19/month and Professional is $99/month. Each includes 20 credits, then $1 per gift message or gift card.
  • Multi Gift is included on Professional only. Your Multi Gift rate is shown on Settings → Subscription.
  • Your first month is free when you first subscribe. Usage charges still apply.
  • Legacy and custom plans stay as they are. You don't need to switch, but Professional features (such as Multi Gift and the Giftnote API) need the Professional plan.
