Check these
Order status names changed
Gift order statuses have new names. If you saved filters, reports or internal notes that use the old names, update them. Understanding Your Analytics explains the new statuses.
Storefront order forms moved
The old shop-wide Multi Gift order form is gone. Each storefront now has its own Form tab where you choose the fields customers fill in. Check each storefront's Form tab.
Carriers page removed
The old Settings → Carriers page is gone. Giftnote now detects the carrier on new orders by itself, and orders from before the update keep their saved carrier mapping. On Delivery messages still need a carrier name and tracking number on each Shopify order. See Delivery Options: Send Now, Send Later, On Delivery, On Fulfillment.
Klaviyo event names (when you're ready)
If you connected Klaviyo before the update, Giftnote still sends the old Giftnote - metric names, so your flows keep running. Move them to the new event names when you're ready: see Migrating your Klaviyo flows to the new Giftnote integration.
No action needed
Tax on Multi Gift orders comes from Shopify
Giftnote no longer uses TaxJar. It takes tax from your store's Shopify tax settings instead. This also fixes a case where the old method could collect too much tax on some products. Your Multi Gift tax lines may look slightly different from before.
An old storefront link redirects
A bookmarked link to a storefront's old "Content" tab now opens its Language tab, where those settings live now.
Custom gifting subdomains keep working
If you pointed your own subdomain at Giftnote before the update, you don't need to change the DNS record. See How to Set Up Your Custom Gifting Subdomain.
New: approve Multi Gift recipient orders first
Giftnote creates recipient orders in a multi-gift campaign automatically. To review them before they're created, turn on Require your approval before recipient orders are created in Settings → Multi Gifts → Advanced settings. It's off unless you turn it on.
