Before a peak, nobody has room for a new project. These are three small changes to the campaigns your client already has planned, picked from their own data. They work for BFCM and Christmas, and for any other gifting peak such as Valentine's Day or Mother's Day. The prompt reads Giftnote's events, so it's for clients already on Giftnote; for anyone else, start with the path for clients not on Giftnote yet.

Before you run any prompt. These prompts assume your AI assistant has read and write access to your client's Klaviyo. AI tools make mistakes. Only run them for clients who've given you permission, check every number before you share it, and review every draft in Klaviyo before anything goes live. You're responsible for changes made in your client's account.

2. The prompt

Rules for this task:
- Work only in the Klaviyo account for [CLIENT NAME]. Before any change, tell me the account name and wait for my yes.
- Create drafts only. Never send or schedule a campaign, set a flow live, delete anything, or change anyone's subscription.
- Never edit the client's existing campaigns or flows. Suggest changes to them in your reply instead.
- Before you create anything, list what you'll create and wait for my yes.
- Tag everything you create "giftnote-agency" and give me a list of it at the end.
- Report counts only. Never show customer names, emails or phone numbers.

Task: three gifting adds to [CLIENT NAME]'s plan for [PEAK, e.g. BFCM and Christmas].

1. Find the peak in their data: Placed Gift Order plus Purchased Gift Card events by month for the last 12 full months. Tell me the peak month and its share of the year.
2. List the campaigns already scheduled or in draft for the peak.
3. Pick three adds from this list, using their data, and tell me the number behind each: a gift line in the peak campaigns; a send to last year's peak-month gifters; a last-minute gift card email after the shipping cut-off; switching on a recipient welcome; fixing a Giftnote flow that sends far fewer emails than events; a January gift card push. A broken gift email always comes first.
4. For each add, give me: which existing campaign or flow it goes into (or that it's a new email), the copy in the client's voice (read 3 recent campaigns to match it), the audience, and the date it should be live by.
5. Once I say yes, create any new emails as draft campaigns with no send time.

3. Timing

  • Gifter sends work best 3 to 4 weeks before the peak.
  • The gift line goes in from the first BFCM email.
  • The last-minute gift card email goes out the day after the client's last shipping date.
  • The January push is drafted now and sent in the first week of January.

Plan the year around your client's other peaks with the seasonal calendar in the Klaviyo onboarding guide for agencies.
