How to set up Ometria Integration

Connect Ometria with your API key and choose which Giftnote events are sent to your Ometria flows.

Connect Ometria and Giftnote sends Ometria an event each time a gift is ordered, delivered or received, so you can trigger gift emails from your Ometria flows in your own designs.

Settings → Integrations → Ometria. Enter your Ometria API key to connect.

Connect Ometria

  1. Open the Giftnote app inside your Shopify admin.
  2. Go to Settings → Integrations. Find Ometria under Marketing and select Configure (or Settings if it is already connected).
  3. Enter your Ometria API key. Save if a save bar appears. The Connection card then shows Connected via API Key with a Disconnect button.
  4. Send test events. Under Notification Events, select Test All, or Test on a single event, then check the events arrive in Ometria.
  5. Turn on Integration Enabled if it is off. Giftnote now sends events to Ometria.
  6. Turn off the matching Giftnote emails. In Settings → Notifications, switch off Giftnote's own email for each gift moment Ometria now handles, so recipients don't get two emails.

Available Giftnote Events

Under Notification Events, switch each event on or off (or use Enable All / Disable All). Select Edit to change the event name Ometria receives, or Preview to see the data it sends.
