You can add labels such as "Best seller" or "Ideal gift" to products in your Multi Gift storefront. They show as small tags on the product card, which helps buyers choose. You add them with a tag on the product in Shopify.

Settings → Multi Gifts. Open a storefront with Edit to manage its products and labels.

Label ideas:

  • Best seller
  • Recommended
  • Hot
  • Ideal gift
  • Location-specific suggestions

How to Add a Product Label

  1. In Shopify admin, go to Products and open the product you want to label.
  2. In the Tags box, add a tag in this format, with your label inside the brackets:
gntag(Your Label)

For example:

  • gntag(Best seller)
  • gntag(Recommended)
  • gntag(Perfect for clients)

Save the product. You can add more than one gntag() tag to the same product.

What Your Customers See

Buyers see each label as a tag on the product card in your storefront. To check, open your storefront in a private (incognito) window and find the product.

When to use labels

Use labels to point buyers to your best sellers, or to products that suit a particular occasion or type of recipient.
