Your new home in Shopify admin
Giftnote now works like any other Shopify admin app. Its pages (Gift Orders, Gift Cards, Multi Gifts, Analytics and Settings) sit in Shopify's own sidebar under Giftnote. Before the September 2026 update, Giftnote ran its own dashboard with its own tab bar. There's nothing you need to do here.
Your Home page
The app opens on Home. The top row shows Gifts Sent, Sales, Spend and Conversions for the period you pick (for example Last 7 days), with a link to View analytics. Below that, Recent activity lists your latest gift orders, gift cards and multi gifts, each with View all.
Getting around
- Shopify's own navigation and save bar. The app looks and works like the rest of your Shopify admin. If you try to leave a page with unsaved changes, the save bar warns you first.
- Search, filters and saved views. Every list of gift orders, gift cards or multi gifts has search and filters. You can save a view, name it, and come back to it as a tab.
Getting started
- Setup guide. The Setup guide on Home walks you through getting your store ready and ticks off each step as you finish it. Steps that need a different plan show as "upgrade required" rather than being hidden.
- Features outside your plan stay visible, with a way to upgrade.
Settings, all in one place
Settings has quick links to your profile and contacts, notifications, subscription, integrations and exports, each with its own page. Settings, plans and what you can configure shows where each old setting moved.
Things you can now change yourself
Some changes that used to need a support request are now in your own settings: email design and templates, data exports, pixel tracking (Google Tag Manager and Meta Pixel), and every connected integration.
