10. Early access features: try new Giftnote features before they launch

What early access is, how to ask for it, and which features are available that way today.

Some Giftnote features are ready but not yet switched on for every store. With early access, we switch one on for your store, help you set it up, and support you while you try it on real orders. Your feedback shapes the feature before everyone gets it.

Settings → Development: the Merchant API, Early access features and features set by Giftnote.

How to ask for early access

  1. Chat with us using the chat button in the help centre or in the app, or email support@giftnote.com.

  2. Tell us which feature you'd like to try and how you plan to use it.

  3. We switch it on for your store and help you set it up.

Once we switch a feature on, it shows under Early access in Settings → Development. You can't turn early access features on yourself. If a feature isn't right for you, ask us to switch it off.

Recently graduated

Addressless gifting for Multi Gift left early access in October 2026 and is now part of Multi Gift. Customers add recipients with just a name and email, and each recipient enters their own delivery address. How it works: Addressless gifting: let recipients add their own address.

What to expect

  • Early access features work on real orders, but they may still change. We'll tell you before a change affects your store.

  • Help articles for early access features may be shorter than usual, so we'll walk you through setup ourselves.
